Why Dog Daycare?

Have you ever felt as though despite your best efforts, your dog doesn’t receive the necessary attention that it requires? Do you sometimes worry that your dog is lonely when you’re not home? Do you want to provide your dog with more opportunities to satisfy its basic need to socialize with other dogs? Does your dog need more exercise so it is better able to relax in the evening? Does your dog chew furniture, carpet, pillows or other home furnishings while you’re away?

During the past decade, Dog Daycare has become a proven remedy for these and many other behavioral issues between dogs and their well-intentioned owners. Much like our most basic need to socialize with others, dogs require the natural companionship and enjoyment that can only come from being with other dogs.

At The RUFF House, our objective is to offer you a convenient way of providing your dog with that opportunity to socialize within a clean, caring environment filled with dogs with similar temperament and level of playfulness. We are dog owners and dog lovers who look forward to serving both you and your dog.

Daycare

At the Ruff House we provide dogs a place to make new friends, have fun and be safe during those times when you can’t be with them. RUFF House daycare guests will spend the day playing in our indoor and outdoor playgrounds within carefully pre-determined groups of compatible playmates that enjoy the same amount of activity. When it comes time to rest, each dog can either have its own individual resting quarters or find a place to curl up near our staff. Dogs are welcome to stay all day or spend just a few hours in our half day “Stay and Play” program.

Outdoor Play Ground

Throughout the day, every RUFF House dog will have the opportunity to stretch its legs and enjoy the fresh air within our 2000 square foot secure outdoor playground. Here dogs can enjoy additional fun ranging from resting in the sunshine on a spring day to frolicking in the snow during winter to playing in our swimming pool in the summer.

Indoor Play Ground

Dogs entering the RUFF House will find a large play area where they can romp and play with their RUFF House friends on our spacious and comfortable rubber floors. Your dog will be free to socialize with other dogs, climb on our toys or relax on our lambs wool cushions. Every dog is always under the attentive supervision of our trained and caring staff.

For your added convenience, the RUFF Rider dog transportation service is available to comfortably transport your dog to The RUFF House and/or return your dog to your home.
