daycare faq

Physical exercise, mental stimulation, and social interaction is what your dog will get here! At The Ruff House our dogs play ALL DAY! NO CRATES! Our employees are trained to be 'leaders of the pack' to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for your dog. 

We require all Meet & Greet dogs to stay for a minimum of 4 hours on their first day. During your dogs Meet & Greet, the daycare staff will introduce your dog to the facility and other dogs, under controlled and supervised conditions. They will observe how your dog interacts & plays! Meet & greets must be scheduled ahead of time and cost $36. As long as everything goes well on your dogs first day, they'll officially be a member of the pack! 

We require all dogs that attend The Ruff House to have their Bordetella (kennel cough), distemper (DHLPP), & rabies vaccines. All dogs 6 months & old MUST be spayed or neutered. 

If your dog(s) will NOT be coming in for a scheduled daycare reservation you must let us know in advance. If you do not let us know, that day will be marked as a no show. After 3 no shows, you will lost your recurring daycare reservations. 

If you are late to pick your dog(s) up without notice, you will be charged $20 for every 5 minutes your dog is here after our closing time. After 3 late pickups, your dog(s) will no longer be allowed to come for daycare.

We are not able to accommodate walk ins for daycare. You must contact us ahead of time to see if we have any available space that day.
